Chris Vanderpool won Week 16 of the Native New Yorker Battle of the Bone 3 Wing Eating contest at the Maricopa Native New Yorker. Chris ate just over 2 and a half pounds of Medium Native Wings to claim victory in Maricopa. The finale of the Native New Yorker Battle of the Bone 2009 Wing Eating contest concluded Saturday night with Colin Gardiner breaking all Battle of the Bone records by plowing down 4.25 lbs of medium Native New Yorker wings. Gardiner out ate runner up Chillen Peng, who devoured an impressive 3.25 lbs. Jeremy Moon dominates the Mesa on Gilbert Rd Native New Yorker in Week 15 of the Battle of the Bone Wing Eating contest. Moon chowed down over 2 pounds 5 ounces to earn a seat in the finale at Chandler Harley Davidson in September. A large and vociferous crowd packed the Native New Yorker in Glendale to support keeping the Phoenix Coyotes in Arizona. The event, put on by the Save the Coyotes Coalition and SaveTheCoyotes.com, encouraged fans from across the Valley to band together to show their passion and pride for the team. That passion and pride was on full display Saturday morning.
